The official shutdown notice confirmed the closure was permanent, citing increased platform-side blocks on virtual numbers by Google, Meta, and Telegram throughout 2024–2025 as contributing factors.
Users with account balances below $30 were unable to withdraw their remaining funds. Scam sites immediately began impersonating the SMS-Activate brand — if you find a site claiming to be "the new SMS-Activate," treat it with caution.
